PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BEGINNING
Make sure you are using Windows XP or older, Vista may not be compatible.
Temporarily turn off your anti virus software off for this procedure, it may falsly detect our client as a virus.
Make sure your not behind any firewalls that would prevent our software to work, (if you are at your workplace this may pose a problem)
Be sure that you have a stable internet conection.
Have your USB cable compatible for your phone ready.
MOST IMPORTANT - YOUR BATTERY MUST BE FULLY CHARGED. IF IT ISN'T CHARGED FULLY, PLEASE DO SO NOW. IF YOUR BATTERY IS NOT FULLY CHARGED 100% THEN DO NOT UNLOCK YOUR PHONE AS TRYING TO UNLOCK IT WITH A LOW BATTERY COULD RENDER YOUR PHONE INOPERATIONAL.
Do not connect your phone to your PC yet
Step 1: Install the USB installation drivers
Step 2: Plug in USB cable into your PC
Step 3: With your phone off plug in the USB cable into your phone
Step 4: Press down the star (*) and pound (#) keys togther at the same time and press power until it goes into "FLASHStrap" mode, (with some iDEN phones this can be tricky, keep trying if it doesn't work the first couple of times. Try pressing the power button quickly and letting go as we find this works as well. Just keep trying, you'll eventially get it.)
Step 5: Install drivers
Step 6: Open the iDen unlocking client and in the settings tab enter your username & password that came to you in your email
Step 7: Make sure that the server settings are set to "Main Server"
Step 8: Then choose the "CNS Unlock" tab and then click "Do it"
Step 9: It will then connect to the server and you should see the progress bar moving and some activity in the window as it is unlocking
Step 10: When it says done, unplug your phone, take out your battery and insert a SIM card other than what it's locked to and turn it on
Now your phone is completely and permanently unlocked and can be used with another iDEN service provider.
